This is a bit of a stupid one but try deleting it all and starting over with a clean instill of the game and mod. Under Settings click 'Reduced Colour Mode' and set it to '16-bit (65536) colour'. Right click on the SFC.exe and go to properties, If you get it asking for your windows to be in 16bit colour. Run from the SFC.exe in the Install folder instead of the gog launcher shortcut.
